The SIPLUS ET 200S EM 4DI is an electronic module with a width of 15 mm and operates on a 24 V DC power supply. It comes in a packing unit of 5 units, with 1 packing unit containing 5 modules.
This module, based on 6ES7131-4BD01-0AA0, is designed to operate in a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C. It is equipped with conformal coating, which provides protection against biologically, chemically, and physically active substances, condensation, frost, and corrosive gases.
SIMATIC ET 200S is a modularly scalable, distributed I/O system that is specially designed for installation in small control boxes near the machine. It offers the flexibility to be directly plugged into an ET 200S IM with CPU functionality or connected to a central controller via PROFINET or PROFIBUS.
The system supports up to 64 I/O modules, which can be inserted in any combination. It provides a comprehensive range of modules, including standard functions (ST) as well as modules with extended functions and diagnostics (HF High Feature/HS High Speed) for improved scalability in terms of functionality and price.
One of the advantages of the ET 200S system is its ease of application. Modules and terminal boxes can be swapped during operation, allowing for increased availability and productivity of the machine. This feature, known as "hot swapping," ensures that the system remains operational even during maintenance or replacement of modules.
In addition to the CPU, the digital input modules of the ET 200S system are also protected against extreme ambient conditions. The 100% conformal coating ensures reliable operation in various environments, regardless of the conditions.
