S7-PDIAG increases the availability of machines and production systems and optimally supports personnel on-site in analyzing and eliminating faults. It allows the configuration of process diagnostics for SIMATIC using the programming languages LAD, FBD, or STL. The process diagnostics enable the detection of erroneous states outside of the automation system, such as when a limit switch is not reached.
When combined with SIMATIC HMI display devices and the SIMATIC ProAgent option package, which is specifically designed for process diagnostics, S7-PDIAG becomes a powerful tool.
PDIAG is available in the TIA Portal via SIMATIC ProDiag with extended functions for the S7-1500.
